The Brooklyn Cowboy, Gashi, makes his return to Hip-Hop!
With a voice like Queens rapper Action Bronson, a flow that can only be described as a mix of Tyler, The Creator and NYC Legend Pop Smoke, and rhymes like no other, Gashi delivers once more with 'Halos & Dracos.' This is the second track Gashi has dropped in anticipation of his sixth studio album, The Killah Whales of Gotham dropping May 2, 2025.
The two-and-a-half minute track featuring JIMI BANKS, talks about the spoils of being successful from the music released through his self-owned label. During Gashi’s verse in the second half of the song, the message seems to get a little lost, but he keeps you locked in with his smooth flow.
He doesn’t stop at rapping. The beat, with its bouncing snares atop an eerily melancholic melody, was produced by Gashi, Dom Casella and Wax Motif. He shows that he's come a long way from the country music that put him on Johnny Cash’s estate’s radar or the retro-futuristic pop rap from his self titled 2019 album. This single drops before his album, The Killah Whales of Gotham, slated for May 2, 2025, under his independent label, Orca Sound Records. Listen to it here!
